The Appraisal Hub / Credit unions
Credit unions
Appraisal management for credit unions.
Written for the appraisal manager and the vendor management officer who have to answer for the appraisal program when an examiner asks. A named person on the file, a licensed or certified appraiser on every report, and the vendor areas your reviewer works through, sent by a person when you ask.
The review
What does your examiner ask about the appraisal program?
The same areas every time: how the program meets the NCUA's appraisal rule, how appraiser independence is respected, and whether the documentation exists to show both.
The rule is the NCUA's appraisal regulation at 12 CFR Part 722, published in the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations, and the NCUA's own material sits at ncua.gov. We link the sources rather than paraphrase them, because a summary of a federal rule on a vendor's website is exactly the thing your examiner will not accept.
What we bring to it is the vendor side of the file: our appraisal management company licensing with the number for each state, our quality control and review process in writing, appraiser qualifications and how an appraiser is vetted, and the technology, business continuity and data security material a vendor review asks for. That file is listed item by item on the vendor diligence page.
Working with us
What does it look like day to day?
A credit union's appraisal volume is usually steady rather than enormous, which means the thing that matters is not capacity. It is whether someone picks up when your lending assistant has a question about one file on a Thursday afternoon.
The whole of it, moment by moment through a file, is on the service promise page.
What you get
- One named account manager who knows your files, not a queue and not a ticket number
- A line staffed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. 97% of the calls to it during those hours over three months, May through July 2026, were answered
- Every report is reviewed by a licensed or certified appraiser and checked against our comprehensive quality control checklist before it reaches you.
- Scheduling is confirmed with your member, and you are notified when a date moves.
- The vendor file for your third party risk reviewer, sent by a person when you ask
Measured from the firm's own telephone records over three months, May through July 2026, during stated hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with stated holidays excluded, and confirmed by ownership review.
The firm
Who are you actually hiring?
A woman owned appraisal management company, founded in 2009 by a certified residential appraiser, licensed in twelve states.
Appraiser led is not a tagline here. It is why a licensed or certified appraiser reads every report before delivery, and why an escalation reaches someone who can explain the evidence and reasoning rather than only the timeline. The longer version is on the about page.
We are licensed as an appraisal management company in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont, and every license number is printed on the coverage page.
Getting started
How does a credit union open an account with us?
Opening an account takes three steps, usually in the order below.
In order
First. Call (508) 850-9090, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, and hear who answers.
Second. Ask for our vendor packet and give it to whoever runs your third party risk review.
Third. Register the account.
If you already work with another appraisal management company, the steps of a move and what stays under your control are set out on the switching page. There are no setup fees and no long-term contract to sign.
