Community banks

Appraisal management for community banks.

Regional panel depth in twelve states, a licensed or certified appraiser reading every report, and a named person your lenders and processors can call by name. Written for the lending officer who owns the appraisal relationship.

Depth

Why does a regional panel matter to a community bank?

Because you lend in specific towns, and an appraisal is a local piece of work. The question that decides your turn time is whether somebody good is already working in your lending area.

Our coverage is twelve licensed states and it is expanding. Depth where we are licensed is what your turn times respond to, and that is where we build first. Depth shows up as how many appraisers we work with in your lending area, how long we have worked with them, and how quickly one of them can get to the door.

Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont, with every license number printed on the coverage page.

The review

What do your examiners expect of the appraisal function?

The areas set out in the Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, published by the federal banking agencies, together with appraiser independence.

The guidelines are published in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. We link the source rather than summarize it, because a vendor's paraphrase of supervisory guidance is not something your examiner will work from, and because the parts that matter to your bank are the ones your own policy has already settled.

Our side of it is the vendor file: appraisal management company licensing with the number for each state, the quality control and review process in writing, appraiser qualifications and how an appraiser is vetted, technology and integrations, business continuity, and data security and privacy. It is listed item by item on the vendor diligence page and it is sent by a person when you ask.

Working with us

What does it look like day to day?

A community bank does not need an enterprise vendor. It needs the loan officer's question answered by somebody who can open the file and reach the appraiser.

The whole of it, moment by moment through a file, is on the service promise page, and the ordering platforms and loan origination systems we connect to are named on the technology page.

What you get

  • One named account manager who knows your files and your overlays
  • A line staffed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. 97% of the calls to it during those hours over three months, May through July 2026, were answered
  • Every report is reviewed by a licensed or certified appraiser and checked against our comprehensive quality control checklist before it reaches you.
  • Ordering through the system your team already uses, or by email and telephone
  • The vendor file for whoever runs your third party risk review, sent when you ask

Measured from the firm's own telephone records over three months, May through July 2026, during stated hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with stated holidays excluded, and confirmed by ownership review.

Getting started

How does a community bank open an account with us?

Opening an account takes three steps, usually in the order below.

In order

First. Call (508) 850-9090, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, and hear who answers.

Second. Ask for our vendor packet and give it to your third party risk reviewer.

Third. Register the account.

If you are already working with another appraisal management company, the steps of a move and what stays under your control are on the switching page. Plenty of banks run more than one appraisal management company, allowing them to compare the two on live files. There are no setup fees and no long-term contract to sign.
