the phone.

Most appraisal management companies say it. We built the firm around it. You get a named person who knows your file, not a queue and not a ticket number.

The covenant

What do we commit to, in writing?

Three commitments. They are the reason lenders stay, and they are the only things on this page we ask you to hold us to.

I

A named person, not a queue.

Every lender is assigned one account manager by name, with a direct extension. They know your overlays, your investors and your open files. When you call, you are not explaining yourself from the beginning.

II

Answered during business hours.

The line is staffed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. We answered 97% of the calls to it during those hours over three months, May through July 2026, measured from our own telephone records.

III

Reviewed by a licensed or certified appraiser.

Every report is reviewed by a licensed or certified appraiser and checked against our comprehensive quality control checklist before it reaches you. We catch issues early, helping reduce revisions, avoid delays, and keep your loan moving.

Before the first order

What will your third party risk team ask us for?

Before a lender places a first order, its vendor management team asks us for documents. A person sends that file when you ask. Some of what is in it is below, and the full list, area by area, is on the vendor diligence page.

Request the diligence packet

In the packet

  • AMC license certificates for all twelve states
  • Quality control and the review process, in writing
  • Business continuity, and data security and privacy
  • Lender references, available upon request, with each reference's permission

Coverage

Why only twelve states?

Our coverage is twelve licensed states and it is expanding. Depth where we are licensed is what your turn times respond to, and that is where we build first.

Depth in your market is what your turn times actually respond to: how many appraisers we work with in your lending area, how long we have worked with them, and how quickly one of them can get to the door. The coverage page carries the license number for each state.

Steps for Requesting a Vendor Packet
AMC licenses in twelve states, with the number each state issued us. The numbers are maintained by the firm; the certificates go to your third party risk team in the file we send when you ask.

Who is behind this

Who built this firm?

An appraiser did. The firm was founded in 2009 by a certified residential appraiser who had spent sixteen years in the field and had run her own Greater Boston appraisal practice. She built the appraisal management company she had wanted to work with: one that paid appraisers properly, reviewed work with a licensed eye, and answered the telephone.

Rina Angelo, founder. A certified residential appraiser who began appraising in 1993.
